Course Overview
GNM referred as General Nursing and Midwifery it deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. This comprehensive 3-year program prepares students for a rewarding career in nursing.
The course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical training in various aspects of nursing including medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, child health nursing, mental health nursing, and midwifery.
Application Eligibility
- Minimum age for admission will be 17 years (as on 31st December of that year)
- The upper age limit is 35 years
- 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with aggregate of 40% marks
- Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course from a school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
- 5% relaxation is permitted to SC/ST students
- Students shall be medically fit
